We go “Around the World in Trams” again as we take another look at a tram in Nice.
Nice now has a fleet of 62 trams – all of which are members of the ubiquitous Alstom Citadis family of trams. As mentioned last week they have a unique design which is said to blend in with the architecture of Nice. The original trams were built as five section trams but some have since been extended whilst the later cars came as seven sections.
Here we see 015 in Place Massena, another location on line 1. Once again the windows are covered in advertising but the body of the tram is in fleet livery. 015 was built in 2007 and was extended in 2015 at which point it changed from a Citadis 302 to 402.
