Manchester Metrolink’s 3089 is carrying a new advert following the application of vinyls for Hits Radio. It’s a case of threes in this case as it’s the third advert for 3089 and also the third different tram to advertise Hits Radio.
The advert is of a very similar design to the previous ads for Hits Radio featuring blues and pinks along with photos of some of the presenters on the radio station.
3089’s previous adverts have been for Dippy on Tour (January-December 2020) and Booking.com (August-December 2023).
Of course, Hits Radio are no stranger to advertising on the trams with 3103 (June-October 2018) and 3066 (May 2022-August 2023) having previously carried vinyls for them. They did also advertise on 3095 (May-October 2017) in their previous guise as Key 103.
