We continue with “Around the World in Trams” as Ostrava, Czech Republic is still our location.
As with the last edition, the tram we feature in this photo is a rebuilt Tatra KT8D5R.N1 – this time its numbered 1510. Built in 1989 as a KT8D5, it was 2002 that this received a refurbishment and remains in service in 2024 in this condition. Its also in the standard fleet livery for this class of tram.
1510 is on route 1 and is heading to Hlavni nadrazi. As we can see on the tramstop sign on the left this stop is served by routes 1, 2, 6, 8, 14, 18 and 99 and it seems that both trams and buses work services here. The stop is Stodolni.
