All 27 trams in Edinburgh are now proudly carrying commercial advertising following the removal of the Trams to Newhaven vinyls on 258 and their replacement by a new contract for the Rio Brazilian Steakhouse.
This advert is in the partial advertising style (full height vinyls on two sections, rest just having above window adverts) and only marks the third commercial advertising contract on 258. The dark coloured vinyls were applied in March 2024. Of note the tram retains the madder sections of the fleet livery and has not been fully repainted white at this time.
Previous adverts for 258 have been CR Smith (September 2017-February 2021), John Lewis (May 2021-March 2022), Edinburgh Trams recruitment (March 2022-June 2023) and Edinburgh Trams Newhaven extension (June 2023-March 2024).
