Picture in Time: Stagecoach Supertram 111

Another “Picture in Time” with Supertram still the focus of our attention.

One of the biggest pieces of infrastructure which was needed for the construction of the Supertram network was the bowstring bridge at Park Square. Since the trams started running it has been featured in countless number of photos and it does so again on this occasion.

We see 111 in the white based Stagecoach livery shortly after its departed from Fitzalan Square as it makes its way towards Halfway with a Blue route service. Once it gets to the other end of the bridge it will take a turn to the right with its next stop being Sheffield Station/Sheffield Hallam University.
