The Seaton Tramway has become the only attraction in Devon to be awarded the Visit England Welcome Accolade. Given to attractions that give visitors a genuinely excellent welcome its for those teams that will go the extra mile to ensure their visitors are well looked after and get the most out of their visit.
The Seaton Tramway are delighted with the accolade and Commercial Manager, Steve Waite, commented: “Winning the Welcome Accolade is no small feat; it is recognition of the tireless efforts of the entire team at Seaton Tramway to not only maintain but elevate the standard of welcome and care they extend to each visitor”.
91 attractions across England have received these accolades and the recognise all aspects of the visit experience. They are given in five categories including Hidden Gem, Best Told Story, Quality Food and Drink, Welcome and Gold (for the all round top scoring attractions).
As well as being the only attraction in Devon to win an accolade, Seaton Tramway is also the only heritage tramway or railway to have been recognised.
