Services on Luas’ Red Line will be affected by engineering works over the weekend of Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September with no trams due to run between Blackhorse and Heuston throughout the weekend.
The works will involve the breaking of concrete and repairing the rails. Its best to complete this work over two consecutive days hence the closure. It is considered essential to allow the continued safe, reliable operation of the tram service.
During the works trams will run:
- Tallaght/Saggart to Blackhourse
- Heuston to The Point
There will be a replacement bus service from Blackhorse to Heuston running approximately every 15 minutes. Due to limited bus set down areas the replacement bus will not serve all stops. Further details of this service is available at https://luas.ie/red-line-works-sep23/.
The Green Line will run as normal with the Red Line resuming a normal service from the start of Monday 4th September.
