Wednesday 7th June saw the opening of the Trams to Newhaven extension in Edinburgh with the first services departing from either end of the extension at 1200. The first tram from Newhaven was 259 and in this view we see the tram having just Ocean Terminal on its way to the terminus to form that first service. (Photograph by Roy Calderwood)
