Its time for another edition of “They Ran in 2021” today and in this article we are off to the Crich Tramway Village to take a look at an ever popular tram.
Although Crich went into 2021 with a reduced operating fleet there was probably little danger that Blackpool Boat 236 would not be one of the trams chosen to run with it always popular with visitors in fine weather. In the end it would be one of only two open trams to run during the year – London County Council 106 being the other – and was used frequently throughout the summer in particular.
