2025 has definitely been the year of the advert in Blackpool! Following the bringing of advertising in-house there has been a definite up-tick in the number of new adverts, whilst we have also seen a number of expired ads taken off trams. The latest tram to receive a new advert is 011 which has seen the application of an almost full wrap for Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. It is a dual advert with one side advertising Mamma Mia! (which is at the Opera House 28th April to 3rd May 2026) and the other Miss Saigon (playing at the Opera House from 30th June until 4th July 2026).
Whilst the majority of full all over adverts in Blackpool have seen the whole tram covered, including cab ends (with 001’s Blackpool Resort Pass a notable exception), this new advert for Miss Saigon sees the end of the tram left devoid of vinyls. The rest of the tram is covered in the advert though and it also includes vinyls on the central windows
This is the second full advert that 011 has carried. It previously carried an attractive advert for Mazuma Mobile between September 2022 and February 2023. The advert for Mamma Mia!/Miss Saigon debuted in service on 28th November 2025.
011 now joins 012 (Pleasure Beach) and 016 (Coral Island) in carrying a full advert whilst 001 (Blackpool Zoo) and 013 (Hole in the Wand Mini Golf) have “T” style adverts. And the ranks of the advertising trams are set to increase very soon too.
011 departs from Rossall Beach on the second day of use with its new advert in place. This shows the Miss Saigon side.
