We take another trip “Out and About” and in this edition we head out on Manchester Metrolink to Shaw & Crompton on the Oldham and Rochdale line.
Throughout 2021 we have gradually been seeing the new batch of M5000s enter service and one of the most recent examples to carry its first passengers is 3132. This was seen in service on 14th November and has since fallen into the regular pattern of operation. On 2nd December 2021 these two images taken at Shaw & Crompton show the tram heading a service from Rochdale Town Centre to East Didsbury with the last vestiges of daylight in the sky.
