In Pictures: Edinburgh Trams 269 gets new vinyls for COP26

Unless you haven’t read or seen any news for the past few weeks you will be well aware that the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference – COP26 – is taking place in Glasgow from 31st October until 12th November and to mark the occasion Edinburgh Trams 269 has received some new advertising vinyls.

Replacing adverts for Edinburgh Napier University – only added in July 2021 – this advert uses the slogan “Scotland. Let’s do net zero” and the colours of the vinyls graduate from blue through purple to pink. As usual its full height adverts on the third and fifth sections and above window ads on the other sections of the tram. 269 retains its masks below the cab window too.

This is the fifth advert carried by 269 and as mentioned above replaces a design for Edinburgh Napier University. Previous adverts were CR Smith, EE 5G and American Express. It remains to be seen if this is a short-term advert for the duration of the conference.

269 departs from York Place to Edinburgh Airport showing the pink end of the advert.

And the pink full height section with is basically the same but pink!
