Since trams returned to service at Beamish during early September it has been a case of one tram only out on the tracks at any one time so images such as this haven’t been possible. But with a Photo Charter taking place on 16th and 17th September 2021 there was the opportunity to see trams passing once more and in this image – from 17th September – we see Sheffield 264 and Sunderland 16 just on the outskirts of the Town. As followers of BTO will know at the time of the photo this was the terminus, so they are side by side not passing.
