Gallery 976: Beamish - Photo Charter September 2021

Mid-September saw a photo charter at Beamish organised by David Williams and although it was mainly concentrating on the Colliery Railway there were plenty of tram "set pieces" organised as well over a two day period. In this collection we see both these organised line-ups and also some general shots of the trams running in service during opening hours of the museum. All four operational trams at the time are featured: Sunderland 16, Blackpool 31, Oporto 196 and Sheffield 264. Images of these cars are seen at various locations on the open tramway circuit with other vehicles also being posed alongside them to create excellent period scenes.
