Tram services on the Blackpool Tramway have been unable to run up Talbot Road to North Station since the start of Friday 16th January 2026 after emergency roadworks started in Talbot Square.
Whilst these roadworks are not directly connected to the tramway they are preventing trams from running on the extension and as such none of the scheduled services to North Station have been running, and this will be the case until further notice.
During this disruption all trams – on the already temporary timetable for tram maintenance – are running from Starr Gate to Fleetwood Ferry (and vice versa) direct.
