Community Weekend returns to Great Orme Tramway

Any resident of Conwy County will be able to enjoy half priced travel on the Great Orme Tramway over the weekend of 30th and 31st October with the return of the Community Weekend. This will be the second such Community Weekend and follows the first which happened back in October 2019.

The Community Weekend seeks to showcase the Great Orme Tramway to local residents and anyone who can prove they live in Conwy County – such as a driving licence or a utility bill – will be able to travel on the tramway for half price throughout the weekend.

That means return tickets will cost £4.25 for adults and £3.00 for children aged 3-16. Children aged under 3 will remain free (as they are regardless of where you live).

The offer will be available during the Community Weekend only which is Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October.

The Great Orme Tramway is currently in its Autumn operating hours with trams running on both section of the line between 1000 and 1700 each day. The tramway will close for the year at the end of October before returning in March 2022.
