Its another masked tram for us today as we return to Edinburgh.
At the time of writing four of the 27 strong class of trams in Edinburgh have received special mask vinyls (all without advertising liveries) – 261, 262, 263 and 269. The whole idea behind their application is that it will remind passengers of the mandatory requirement to wear masks on board the trams. Whilst Edinburgh Trams is only tramway in the UK to apply masks to their trams it has been seen on railways in the country as well as tramways overseas.
