Fylde Transport Trust to tour the illuminations with Brush 621 and Balloon 715

The Fylde Transport Trust have announced that are going to be running two illumination tours on Friday 23rd October (subject to any changes in government restrictions) using Brush 621 and Balloon 715 – two trams which are part of their own collection of trams and are on loan to Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours.

One tour will run to Fleetwood with the second tour of the evening only going as far north as Thornton Gate but both will visit the southern terminus at Starr Gate. Capacity is strictly limited with just 24 passengers able to be carried on 621 and 44 on 715.

Details of the tours are:

Tour 1 – departs North Pier and Tower at 1630 and runs to Fleetwood where there will be a 30 minute break. It then heads south to Starr Gate and then back to North Pier and Tower.

Tickets will cost £10 with cash or contactless payment on the night.

Tour 2 – Departs North Pier and Tower at 1945 heading to Thornton Gate before reversing and then going back to Starr Gate. It will terminate at North Pier and Tower at approximately 2130.

Tickets cost £5 with cash or contactless payment on the night.

Anyone travelling on the tour must follow current government regulations including the wearing of face coverings (unless exempt).
