Picture in Time: Nottingham Express Transit 211

We head back to Nottingham for this edition of “Picture in Time” as we take a look at another of the Bombardier Incentro trams.

In this photo we see 211 standing at the Hucknall terminus as a passenger kindly demonstrates how easy it is for access with its level boarding thanks to the low floor nature of the tram as he pushes the pram on board for the journey towards Nottingham. 211 was seen in this view on a warm and sunny 8th June 2005 as it awaits departure for Station Street, the original city centre terminus of NET. It is in the original fleet livery but features some external advertising. The railway platform can be seen on the far right hand side and we also see the Robin Hood name on the tram.
