New timetable for the DLR

The Docklands Light Railway are introducing a new timetable from Sunday 23rd August with some frequencies being enhanced, changes to some routes and new first and last train times. This change is in connection with the current project to increase capacity across the DLR network which also includes changing the seating layout on the B2007 units.

The new timetable will see the following changes:

* Increased frequency between Stratford and Canary Wharf – every 8 minutes instead of every 12 during weekday morning peak and every 5 minutes instead of every 10 at weekends

* Increased frequency between Stratford and Lewisham – every 8 minutes instead of every 12 during weekday morning peak

* Increased frequency between Bank and Lewisham – every 5 minutes instead of every 10 on Saturday evenings

* Some Beckton to West Ham services will now terminate at Canning Town

In addition to these main changes there will also be changes to some first and last train times.
