Another car on the Metrolink tracks

A driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after driving their car on the Metrolink tracks at Wythenshawe in the early hours of Tuesday 3rd December.

In Pictures: Trams start running at Beamish again – just not all the way

After a brief suspension at the end of November, trams are running again at Beamish although the overhead issues at Pockerley mean that they are currently unable to operate on the full circuit.

In Pictures: Flooding causes Supertram disruption

Heavy overnight rain in Sheffield led to delays for trams on Thursday 5th December 2024. The tracks were flooded on Middlewood Road close to Leppings Lane tramstop which meant that early morning trams were unable to travel to Middlewood.

NET zero tolerance fare evasion campaign refreshed for the winter

Nottingham Express Transit have released a range of hard-hitting graphics on trams and at stops as part of their renewed zero tolerance campaign aimed at encouraging the public to pay before travelling on the trams.
