In this “Out and About” we go across to the Isle of Man to take a look at one of the tram’s in operation on the horse tramway.
With the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway still only in operation as far as the temporary terminus close to the Villa Marina most days see just the one tram in service running up and down. This tends to mean variety of those running is limited but on most days you can expect one of the Sunshades to be used. On this day it was the turn of 36 which waits at the Villa Marina end of the line with Torrin having a sly glance at the photographer. (Photograph by Jim Smythe, 20th June 2024)
