Time for “Picture in Time” again as we continue with the snowy Fleetwood theme.
This photo is taken not long after the image of 633 we featured last week as its picked up its passengers and now continues with its journey to Blackpool and Starr Gate. The green and cream station nameboard adds a little more character to the snowy scene. The brick built New Docks Fish Curers in the background remains little-changed today, with the same lettering in the same location, albeit repainted. On the other hand the brick building with the white stripes has been replaced by a concrete structure housing a children’s soft play facility and a gym, while the gas holder in the background has unsurprisingly disappeared completely.
