With the first daytime test runs of the new Alstom Citadis trams taking place over the past week in Nottingham city centre, Nottingham Express Transit are offering one lucky person and a guest the chance to drive one within the confines of Wilkinson Street Depot. All you have to do to win the chance is to take a photo of one and forward it to Nottingham Express Transit.
Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, explains all: “The sleek-looking Citadis trams are already making an impression after starting daytime trials ahead of their entry into service later in the year. And now we’re offering the chance for a lucky snapper to drive one of them at our Wilkinson Street depot. To be in with a chance of winning the unique prize, alongside a guided tour of the depot itself, people are being asked to capture an image of a new tram in action and send it to NET. We’ll pick our favourite photo on Friday, May 9, and then get in touch with the winner who can also bring a friend along for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”
