Two more M5000s have been delivered to Queens Road Depot since we last reported on them on these pages with 3079 arriving on Saturday 8th February followed by 3080 on Saturday 1st March. The latter tram remains at Queens Road undergoing commissioning and mileage accumulation whilst 3079 has already entered service.

Its a good job the lowloader has got rear wheel steer otherwise it would really struggle getting into queens road depot.When they were building the new irish centre they should have taken the opportunity to make the access better for such vehicles.I bet the drivers hate delivering vehicles to queens road as when they have unloaded the vehicle they then have to reverse all the way back up the hill.
