Its time for another edition of “Out and About” and this time we go to Edinburgh.
The tram we feature in this photo has had a change of image since this was captured as it is now one of the many which have received full wraps for Emirates. But at the time of this shot it was still advertising Uniqlo (this was in fact its third consecutive ad for the clothing retailer) and is seen leaving Princes Street at the West End and proceeding on to Shandwick Place. In the centre of the picture is St John’s Episcopal Church, with the castle also visible to the right. Then just to the right of the castle is another spire which is of St Cuthbert’s Kirk, another historic church (and where Agatha Christie’s second marriage took place).
