Although so far in 2025 it has been relatively quiet for advertising changes on UK tram systems one tram which has swapped one set of vinyls for another is South Yorkshire Supertram 115. In this “Out and About” we take a look at it in the last days of its carrying vinyls for JD Sports.
This image was taken on 25th January 2025, by a week later these vinyls had been stripped and replaced with an advert for the Park and Ride sites located close to tramstops. But at this time the tram was still carrying this full wrap for JD Sports (one of two tramways to have a similar design with Manchester Metrolink also advertising the company). 115 is just approaching Cathedral with a Purple route service. It will terminate here but as seen on the already changed destination display will soon return to Herdings Park. The purple route operates an hourly service for most of the week.
