In Pictures: Supertram 115 gets some new vinyls

The short-term JD Sports vinyls which had been seen in both Manchester and Sheffield are now no more with those carried on Supertram’s 115 removed and replaced by a new set promoting Park and Ride sites at stops across the network. Metrolink’s 3118 had lost its vinyls during January.

115 is now the second tram on Supertram to be carrying promotional vinyls for Park and Ride sites with 116 also carrying some. But this is a different design and could possibly be the first tram to externally carry the new Supertram logo, introduced last March with the Stagecoach era ended.

The blue, turquoise and white vinyls let passengers know where they can find park and ride sites which includes Halfway, Ikea and Malin Bridge as well as a new site set to be opened soon at Parkgate Rotherham. It includes no contravision.

With the JD Sports advert being 115’s first ever advert this obviously makes these vinyls the second.

There are still six trams out of standard fleet livery (111, 112, 115, 116, 118 and 120).
