In Pictures: Poppies and rosettes on Edinburgh Trams

As the nation pauses to remember on Remembrance Day once again, Edinburgh Trams are one of a number of tramways which are carrying poppies on their vehicles. As well as the poppies the trams have also recently received new rosettes to celebrate recent award success.

The Edinburgh Trams poppies are carried in the cabs of the trams and will be proudly displayed for both Remembrance and Armistice Days. The tramway will also be observing two minutes silence on both days, with trams coming to a halt when it is safe to do so.

The rosettes now being carried are celebrating the network being named UK Tram Operator of the Year at the National Transport Awards. This was given at the ceremony held on 3rd October in London and comes after a successful year for the tramway after the opening of the Newhaven extension in June 2023.
