In another edition of “Around the World in Trams” we return to Nuremberg for a shot of a tram operating in the German city.
Taken on 6th February 2010 this brightly coloured tram is 1105, an Adtranz GT8N2. These were the second batch of trams supplied to the tramway from Adtranz coming in 1999-2000 and following on from the earlier 1995-1996 GT6Ns (examples of which we’ve seen over the past couple of weeks). The tram is working on line 8 to Erlenstegen and is passing the Le Meridien Grand Hotel Nuremberg on Konigstorgraben.
