In Pictures: Public realm works continue at Edgbaston Village

When the West Midlands Metro line to Edgbaston Village opened it was surrounded by hoardings which were telling everyone all about the project to extend the network. This was only ever meant to be a temporary situation but it has taken some time for it not to be so with the hoardings now down and flower beds being installed.

49 stands at the stop with another view of the flower bed.

Whilst the general area around the stop is now looking tidier, the same can’t really be said for the grassed track at the stop. Wet weather and cars deciding to go for a drive into the tramstop has meant it has started to churn up a bit. (All Photographs by Andy Walters, 20th December 2023)
