In this instalment of “Out and About” we head to the Fylde Coast for some images of the Blackpool Tramway during December 2023.
Daytime image during the normal core service as the newest of all the Flexity2 trams, 018, runs along New South Promenade towards Starr Gate. The Pleasure Beach’s Big One rollercoaster dominates the background with the older and more iconic landmark of the Tower further in the distance.
Whilst one of the Pretty Little Thing advert trams had lost their vinyls, 016 was still seen carrying the advert during this visit. Its just departed from Starr Gate and now makes its way north to Fleetwood Ferry. (Both Photographs by Dave Jones, 15th December 2023)
