Around the World in Trams: Riga 30721

“Around the World in Trams” stays in Riga, Latvia for another photo of a tram running in the city.

Originally built as a Tatra T3SU in 1986, the tram was modernised in 2001 and become a Tatra T3A and eventually received the number we see it carrying here – 30721 – in 2010. It would only operate for 10 years with this number though as it was withdrawn from service in November 2020. Although it remains intact it is still withdrawn almost three years later.
