We are back “Out and About” today with a trip to Sheffield on the cards for us.
This photo is taken at Fitzalan Square and shows 123 as it calls at the stop with a service on the Blue route out to Halfway.
399 204 is one of the Citylink vehicles which was set-up to run on the Tram-Train route out to Rotherham Parkgate and that is what it was doing on this day when seen approaching Fitzalan Square. The platform at Castle Square can just be seen in the background.
We catch-up with 399 204 a little bit later as it departs from Rotherham Central bound for Rotherham Parkgate. Its seen passing through the railway height platforms with the trams serving lower sections at the far end. (All Photographs by Ken Jones, 21st June 2023)
