August Bank Holiday to see next Enhanced Weekend for Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours

With the August Bank Holiday weekend fast approaching (the last before Christmas!) the first details of the latest Enhanced Weekend for Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours have been announced. It’s the same pattern as the past few Enhanced Weekends and as we’ve come to expect it will see a hop-on, hop-off timetable running for all three days of the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Getting underway on Saturday 26th August the hop-on, hop-off timetable is the same as that which has run over the past few special weekends. Five trams will be running with the first departure from North Pier to Thornton Gate (the only Cleveleys or Thornton Gate of the timetable) being at 0955 and then regular services for various journeys between Pleasure Beach and Fleetwood and points in between! The timetable ends each day with two trams to Fleetwood with these returning from the northern outpost at 1710 and 1715 respectively. The same timetable runs on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th August as well.

Standard Heritage Tram Tours ticketing is in place which includes the £18 day ticket (£9 for children) as well as the usual shorter return journeys. There are pre-bookable Coastal and Promenade Tours too for those who like to know exactly what they’re doing as well.

Alongside the normal daytime tours the previous day (Friday 25th August) sees a Fish and Chip Tour with Saturday 26th August featuring a Real Ale Tour, Ghost Tram Tour and Evening Tour.  There is also an Evening Tour on Monday 28th August.

Details of which trams are to be used will be announced closer to the weekend.
