We’re back off to Turin for the latest edition of “Around the World in Trams”.
The below photo was captured on 15th March 2019 and is in Piazza Vittorio Veneto. This is a massive square in the centre of the city and has several different tram routes criss-crossing it. That includes route 15 which runs between Via Brissogne and Piazza Coriolano and which 5019 was operating on during this visit. The tram was built in 1990 by Fiat and is one of 53 in this class which was introduced between 1989 and 1992. It features a low floor section and remains in service in 2023.
