West Midlands Metro services will be subject to changes during June 2023 with work being undertaken at Five Ways underpass and also at Dudley Street and Dartmouth Street.
Five Ways underpass
Birmingham Highways are carrying out lighting works which will mean trams can not run to Edgbaston Village from 2130 until the end of service on these dates:
- Sunday 11th to Thursday 15th June
- Sunday 18th to Thursday 22nd June
- Sunday 25th to Thursday 29th June
From 2130 on these dates trams from Wolverhampton St George’s will be turned short at Library.
Dudley Street and Dartmouth Street
Essential maintenance work will take place over two weekend:
- Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June
- Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July
With work taking place on one track on each weekend services will still run on the whole network but at reduced frequency and with single-line working.
Services run every 15 minutes and the single line section being between Black Lake and West Bromwich Central.
