Back in April we brought you the news that Manchester Metrolink 3047 had received an advert for Soccer Aid and now it would appear that its not alone as 3079 is also in an identical advert!
Soccer Aid – a charity football match featuring celebrities and ex-footballers in an England v Rest of the World contest – is taking place at Old Trafford on 11th June and the publicity for the event is in overdrive hence why two trams are now carrying an advert for it!
This is 3079’s first advert and is the 52nd of the 147 strong M5000 class of trams to have now carried some form of advert.

3061 tram is carrying advertisment aswell as I saw this tram today on second city crossing route doing Rochdale-Didsbury route. I didn’t saw it properly but looks like mention something about holiday or travel on plane.
