Yes, we know its only just May and we haven’t even reached summer, let alone autumn or winter!, and you probably really don’t want to think about Christmas but in case you like to be prepared and are looking for something to do with the family ahead of the big day you can now secure your tickets for The Polar Express Tram Ride at the Seaton Tramway.
Starting from 24th November and running on selected dates until 24th December 2023, The Polar Express Tram Ride is described as an once in a lifetime trip of a magical tram ride to the North Pole in a specially decorated single deck tramcar. The North Pole is in fact Colyton where you can alight from the tram and meet the elves with their elf show in the workshop and discover whether you have been naughty or nice at the naughty detector.
All passengers receive “the first gift of Christmas” from Father Christmas himself – A Silver Sleigh Bell. There is also delicious freshly prepared hot food and drink and on the way back there’s the chance to sing along to Christmas carols.
Tickets start from £24.95. The experience lasts for two and a half hours and includes a return trip between Seaton and Colyton, Hot Chocolate & Cookie and the first gift of Christmas, the Silver Sleigh Bell. Under 2s travel free.
