Rugby Return ticket back for Six Nations matches at Murryfield

With the Guinness Six Nations Championship getting underway this weekend its not only an excuse for Edinburgh Trams to use some terrible rugby based puns but also for the reintroduction of the Rugby Return tickets!

Costing £1.80 for under 16s and £3.40 for adults the Rugby Return tickets can be pre-purchased at https://www.edinburghticket.co.uk/. They can then be printed out or easily downloaded onto a smart device.

Lea Harrison, Edinburgh Trams Managing Director, said: “Murrayfield has been the setting for so many epic rugby matches, and this year’s Six Nations games promise to match the excitement of previous years. At Edinburgh Trams, we’re committed to making sure fans are able to make the most of the occasion by helping them to enjoy inexpensive and convenient travel to and from the ground on match days.

We’ll also be boosting service frequency to every three minutes before and after the final whistle. So, travelling to and from Murrayfield by tram couldn’t be easier! On the day, Edinburgh’s roads will be extremely busy. However, anyone travelling by car from outside the city can avoid the hassle and expense of finding a parking spot near the stadium by parking at our Ingliston Park & Ride facility, which has plenty of free spaces, before completing their journey by tram.”

Scotland have three home matches in this year’s championship, all taking place at BT Murrayfield Stadium:

  • 11th February v Wales
  • 12th March v Ireland
  • 18th March v Italy
