In Pictures: Edinburgh Trams 267 gets another advert

Its all change on the advert front for another tram in Edinburgh with 267 recently receiving new vinyls advertising Tennent’s Lager. This is a return to alcohol for the tram having previously advertised the Johnnie Walker visitor attraction and replaces a short-lived contract for Christmas shopping and dining at the St James Quarter.

Tennent’s Lager are one of the supporters of Scottish Rugby and with the Six Nations set to get underway next month publicises that support as well as their products. You don’t need to be told that the advert is the usual Edinburgh Trams style with full height vinyls covering the third and fifth sections whilst the rest of the tram just has adverts above the windows.

267 has now carried six different adverts since receiving its first in September 2017 (one of the many to advertise C R Smith). Since then it has also advertised EE 5G, Spotify, Johnnie Walker Visitor Attraction and St James Quarter Christmas shopping and dining.

267 is on the way to the Airport when seen at Princes Street stop. This view shows the full advert.

A closer view of some of the detail of the advert, including one of the full height sections. (Both Photographs by Roy Calderwood, 21st January 2023)
