More essential works for West Midlands Metro

There will be another period of service change for the West Midlands Metro as more essential engineering works will be taking place. This time it will affect Birmingham City Centre services during the evening of Sunday 29th January.

As from 1900 on Sunday 29th January trams will not run between Bull Street and Edgbaston Village to allow the essential maintenance work to take place. A normal service will continue to operate from Wolverhampton St George’s to Bull Street until the end of service.

As usual there will be ticket acceptance on National Express bus services between Colmore Row and Edgbaston Village.

Normal services will resume from the start of service on Monday 30th January.

Sometimes it’s quicker to walk from five ways Morrisons to library you can do it 20 minutes I know a tram will take a fraction of that time but sometimes the exercise is good for you
