15 Years Apart: Nottingham Express Transit 202

Today “15 Years Apart” is heading to Nottingham again as we take a look at one of the Bombardier Incentro trams in both 2007 and 2022.

The tram we look at this time is 202 which has undergone a livery change in between the two photos. On 7th June 2007 we include this photo of 202 which shows the tram just approaching the viaduct leading to the then Station Street terminus. The tram is already ready for its next journey with the destination display changed to show Hucknall. It was still in original fleet livery at this time.

The 2022 image shows that 202 has now received an advertising wrap with all vestiges of fleet livery replaced. The advert is part of a campaign for the Consent Coalition and was applied in March 2022 – the first time it had been out of fleet livery (although it has had three different versions of the fleet livery). On 19th September 2022 we see the tram heading a service to Hucknall as it runs along Meadows Way. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)
