15 Years Apart: Stagecoach Supertram 111

Time for another then and now look at a tram from a UK tramway – let us head to South Yorkshire to feature one of Supertram’s trams.

The Siemens-Duewag tram we include today is 111 – which has gone from fleet livery to advertising livery in between these two photos. 7th June 2007 at Woodbourn Road is where we start with an image of the tram when it was working on the Yellow route to Middlewood. At this time it was in the white based Stagecoach livery with the dark blue skirt. Its Stagcoach logo on the front seems to have faded though.

Since 2010, 111 has not seen fleet livery as it has had a succession of adverts. The current one is for Pretty Little Thing and this is a slightly revised version which was applied during January 2022 (its been advertising the company since April 2018). This is Infirmary Road on 18th March 2022. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior)
