15 Years Apart: Seaton Tramway 11

The last time this series of “15 Years Apart” went to the Seaton Tramway in Devon we featured a tram which was pink but isn’t any more and this time it’s a tram which wasn’t pink but is now!

When it first entered service Seaton 11 was in this Liverpool First Class livery which consisted of cream and white. Its that condition that we see the tram on 27th October 2007 with the tram standing at Seaton terminus during an End of Season Gala. (Photograph by Gareth Prior)

Then on 27th August 2022 we catch up with 11 again but this time it’s the “Pink Tram” having replaced 8 carrying these bright two-tone pink colours. Complete with between deck advertising we spot the tram just leaving Colyford for Colyton. (Photograph by David Mee)
