Discounted tickets available on et app

Edinburgh Trams’ app – the “et app” – is now offering discounted bundles of tickets as the new way of working following the pandemic sees a change in patterns of travelling to and from the office. A number of different options are available on the app including discounted bundles of tram day tickets for £9.50.

Unlimited travel is possible within the city zone (that’s anywhere on the current network with the exception of the section between Ingliston Park and Ride and Edinburgh Airport) for these discounted bundles with either 3 days worth for £9.50 or 5 days for £15.00).

The et app also gives the option to purchase Weekly City Zone Tickets which includes seven consecutive days of unlimited tram travel and a 28 day ticket for £45.

Lea Harrison, Edinburgh Trams Managing Director, said: “We’re constantly looking at ways to make tram travel even more convenient while offering customers the best possible value. As the traditional commute has changed over the past couple of years, with more people working from home as well as the office, there couldn’t be a better time to introduce this flexible way to pay for travel. These discounted bundles of tram day tickets are ideal for anyone adjusting to ‘hybrid’ working or making more regular trips to the office.”

The et app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App store.
