Man dies after being hit by tram in Dublin

A pedestrian has died after he was hit by a tram in Dublin City Centre in the early hours of Sunday 18^th September 2022. The man, reported locally to be in his 50s, was struck by a tram at approximately 0100 at Broombridge and tragically died of his injuries. A post-mortem will take place with the Gardai appealing for witnesses with video footage to assist in their investigation.
