Around the World in Trams: Tallinn 134

Its another look at the trams of Tallinn in “Around the World in Trams” today.

At the time of the photos included over these next few years the tram fleet in Tallinn was exclusively Tatra built with several different sub-classes being operated. However, since then the system has seen the arrival of 20 CAF built Urbos AXL which are now operating regularly across the network.

The below photo shows Tatra KT4D 134 in service. This tram was acquired by Tallinn from Cottbus, Germany in 2004 (new to that system originally in 1990) but would only remain in service until 2015 when it was withdrawn from service. It does, at the time of writing, remain extant though.
