In our final visit to India we this time feature one of the works fleet on the Kolkata system.
As with many tram systems all around the world, its necessary for a fleet of works cars to also be provided for various purposes and Kolkata is no different. This example is a general purpose works car with the number RS3. Built in-house by the Calcutta Tramways Company (then operator of the system) the actual date of its construction isn’t known.
We see the tram at rest on 24th February 2010.
