It’s a trip across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man for today’s edition of “They Ran in 2021”.
The focus of today’s article is Winter Saloon 22 which ran on a regular basis throughout the 2021 operating season on the Manx Electric Railway. As is often the case the Winter Saloons are often allocated to service and its not uncommon to see them partnered with an open trailer to give passengers the choice of fresh air or shelter!
